This webpage has been created by the Transition Year Students of Ratoath College, Co. Meath as part of their Digital Media Studies Class. It is designed for any student who wants a website that finally offers 100% FREE STUDY MATERIAL with no catches. We were sick of going to so-called "Free" websites only to be asked for money to get help with study, so we decided to make a website that really is free.
All of the resources on this webpage are absolutely free for anyone to use. We just hope that they help with your preparations for your exams. The videos on this website are produced with students, by students, for students.
We decided early on that we would try to use only the most innovative methods including powerpoint presentations and video tutorials in order to create and share revision stuff thats interesting for students. Students from every year in Ratoath College have contributed resources and some resources have been kindly donated to this webpage by some of our teachers too. We always welcome your revision contributions so give us a shout if you would like to get involved with the project.

Who are we?
We are the Transition Year Students at Ratoath College and as part of our Digital Media Studies class, we decided to design a website to offer students all over Ireland and beyond, free access to Junior and Leaving Cert' Revision material. We weren't sure how to set up a website and we didn't have any revision materials, but we said we would give it a go. That was our aim in Sept '09 and now we are up and running with our website and we have lots more video and powerpoint lessons in the pipeline as well as lots of Study Notes and revision Podcasts for a variety of subjects.
How does it work?
The way it works is simple, our Transition Year class are in charge of the website design and maintenance. We also have teams set up to look after video recording, editing and publishing as well as a marketing team. We all work together and we also organise other classes and students to create learning resources which we can publish on the website. But we do need your help too! Why not get some students at your school to produce some videos? - We'd be happy to link them on this website. The more videos, the better, so start recording!
What next?
Each year the next group of Transition Year students will be in charge of maintaining this website, so don't worry, this free resource is here to stay. We would love to get some revision resources from other schools and students to put on this website, so if you have any Video lessons or PowerPoint lessons (or any lessons), or even if you don't but would like to create one then we'd love to hear from you. We have a few ideas as to how best to develop this website, including adding more subjects, adding a links page, setting up a forum page, a chill-out games page and a few other things, but if you have any ideas which you think will help improve this website then let us know.
